01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Set within the peaceful grounds of Senju Motohikawa Shrine, the food truck IZUMI EXPRESS pulls each cup of coffee individually on an espresso machine behind its warm timber counter. The lineup caters to whatever mood you find yourself in, from standard hot or iced coffee to cafe lattes, cafe au lait, and soy lattes that retain a distinct espresso aroma against gentle, smooth milk.
Alongside the classic coffee menu, the eye-catching "fragrant" series incorporates notes of Western spirits such as rum and bourbon. Options like an alcohol-scented cafe mocha make a fitting afternoon pause for adults. Non-coffee drinks are well represented too, including mellow chai lattes, crisp and refreshing chai sodas, and matcha, making it easy to find a drink matched to the day's weather.
You can sit and enjoy your cup on a shrine bench or take it along on a stroll through the Senju shopping streets. The truck accepts cashless payments and provides a rubbish bin for used cups, making it an easy, pleasant stop while walking through the area.
